I have some bayonet type lenses for my XG-1 can anyone tell me if these lenses will fit any of the modern digital cameras on sale, if so which ones.

Hi
No option on those lenses. The MD mount on your old XG1 is not the same mount Minolta used on their autofocus lenses and later on their digitals. Sorry.
