Hi

No, only autofocus Minotla lenses, the Maxxums, are compatabile with Sonly Alpha digitals. The manual focus X-700 lesnes used the old MD mount. Nothing made anymore for those lenses and hasn't been in many years. Sorry.

Hi

Yes, there are some of us still shooting film and most of that action in the used film camera market is for the manual focus stuff from the 70s and 80s, so you would get some interest in that X-700. Check Ebay and you will probably find some postings and get a good idea of used prices. You'll also find that specific models that earned a good reputation over the years and condition of the camera and/or lenses has a huge impact on price. Good luck

Amen to that - film is not dead, yet. I still use a Nikon Fe and a Nikon F3 HP for some shooting, right alongside with my digital cameras. There are pros and cons for each.
