| Any opinions on which one might be best for the rifle range? Lomo Astele or the Celestron MiniMak. Maybe something else in this price range? |

Hi
The first issue is distance. Spotting scopes of this size will work out to 100yds to score targets, but beyond that, you will need something with better resolution. That means either a larger objective or better quality optics or both.
The LOMO offers several advantages over the Celestron. First, the LOMO has removable eyepieces, whereas the Celestron does not. With the LOMO you can use any standard 1.25" eyepiece, but you are stuck with the cheap zoom offered on the Celestron. Second, the LOMO is all metal, whereas the Celestron is all plastic. The LOMO is definitely a better built scope. _________________ ----------------------

| Thank you for your advise. Can you suggest another 45 angle spotter for use out to 600 yards for target scoring? |
