Hi, I'm looking into buying night vision goggles to use at work in our laboratory dark room. Close range viewing in complete darkness is therefore most important to us as we'll need to perform manual labour while wearing the goggles...
I've so far focused on the bushnell 261020 - but am not entirely sure whether it'll be suitable for our purposes...
also, what would be good alternatives?
thankful for any advice! anne[/quote]

The unit emits enough light for use at over 25 yards without light. Viewing range is listed at 1/2 foot minimum. The light is not an LED. This is a good choice for your application.
