best Gen 2 for money

I want to get my first pair of binoculars or monoculars. I understand that gen 1 will probably not be the quality that I'm looking for. What is the least expensive gen 2 and best quality available?

Night vision is confined mostly to gen one and three. Not many twos out there. This ATN Night Leopard will serve you well in a gen two, and a gen two binocular is over double the price. I would recommend the Bushnell Stealthview digital unit over any of them because of image clarity and the option of being able to plug the unit into a camcorder or TV with an RCA plug to record. It is also very affordable. This is the future of night vision available now.
