Age old debate - Yukon Rager vs Bushnell Stealthview

My apologies. I should have read through more forums before posting. After more research (thanks to this site mainly) I think it may be worth the extra money to go with one of these units. I didn't want to spend more than $300 originally, but it seems one of these two units may be worth the extra money in the long run. I see the Yukon is maybe the better of the two, but maybe not. My hubby is into night hiking and pretending he's a ninja so I want what will be cool and fun, but also something that will last. I can't decide from the forum if the yukon is worth the extra $70. I like the idea of more features but durability, usability (i.e. features that don't really help, but are just something else to break or get dirt in), and being a hero to my hubby (because I got him something so awesome) are also very important. Which to buy??

Hi,

Okay, so here is the main difference. The Yukon has better image quality and it comes with a DC power adapter. Bushnell does not even make a power adapter for theirs. To me this is worth the extra money to save the hassle of having to find an adapter that works from your local electronics store.

Herein lies the problem. The Yukon Night Ranger is out of stock and is several months overdue for delivery. You will most likely not get the Yukon in time for the holidays. The Bushnell Stealthview is in stock at this time.
Best regards,

Ryan W.

Age Old Debate

Ryan - thanks for your input. I actually had the Yukon picked out so I'm glad to hear you think that's the best one. I'm really really REALLY sad I can't buy it from this website though. I'll try it just to make sure you really don't have any in stock, but I may have to buy it somewhere else. I'll buy the rest of my cart from you though (lighter, shades, some other gadget). Y'all are great. Thanks so much!!!
