Gen 2 Goggles
What are some suggestions for good, lightweight, and cheap gen 2 (preferably but we'll take very good gen 1/1+'s)goggles/binoculars with headmounts or the option to use a headmount? A couple of buddies of mine are hoping to get some for FTX and were looking to see what's a good recommendation for a tactical environment (we're attending a senior military college so that explains why we're not issued the gear).

Hi,
For a gen 2 unit, I recommend the ATN NVM-14 monocular. This can be worn with optional headgear for hands free use. I recommend a monocular because the gain on night vision units can be very bright. For tactical type use, you want to have one eye that is still adjusted to the dark.

Thanks for your advice. Do you have any recommendations on maybe gen 1 or gen 1+ that may be cheaper?
