Best All Around Night Vision Monocular?

I'm very serious about purchasing a night vision monocular. I'm most interested in getting the best overall unit for price. Overall cost is not the main factor as much as quality. But I don't wont to spend an extra grand or two if it isn't going to be that much better. I can provide authorization for military spec unit. Can you recommend the best brand and what model you would go with? Thanks.
