Hi,

Anyone knows what the recommended max caliber rating is for this sight? Can it handle a 30-06 weapon?

Thanks, Dan.

They are listed up to 308 Winchester caliber. That's a blanket statement because of variables in ammo and gun weight. Try it with your gun.

Yes, the NVMT 3x42 with a laser acts like a Gen.1 riflescope, the maximum muzzle power is 3700 joules. So the .308 cal will be OK for this product.

Has to do with recoil energy, not muzzle energy. Again, it's a blanket statement and not readily definable because of variables like gun weight.
