ATN Doubler for ATN Night Vision - Doubler

Hello,
I just purchased an ATN MK440. The magnification is 4.5. I see they sell mag doublers that attach between the unit and lens. My question is, will these "doublers work on this particular scope? Maybe they work on all the "MK" based scopes, but their isn't enough info to make me comfortable in dropping $200 if it will not work on the Gen 2 MK440.
Anyone out there with any knowledge that can shed some light on the subject
would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, no, there isn't a doubler for your discontinued 440. If there was, I would highly recommend you stay away from it. 9x is much too high for useful resolution.
