adapting a camcorder to monocular NV gen 1

Looking at maybe purchasing a Yukon Ranger 5x42 that has the internal jack for camcorder hookup. Can I use a standard camcorder or do I have to use a video "in" that I hear about; they're expensive aren't they. For recording wildlife; any other suggestions? Thanks

Yes, you will need a recorder with a video in jack to use the Digital Ranger.

How much does a camcorder with an in jack cost and any recommendations? I want to record wildlife at night up to 50 yards or so.

Hi,

We do not sell camcorders. Check with your local electronics outlet. You will need a model with an RCA Video In jack.

You can also buy a mobile player/recorder -

This is easy solution - the recorder already has a cable to attach it to the Ranger.
This is surely not a camcorder but a good alternative worth considering.
