I have a few models in mind, but do not know how to choose.

Having a hard time selecting a Night Vision scope, goggle or monocular from our huge selection? Need to know the difference between Gen 1, 2, 3 and 4? Just ask!

Hi guys,

this is my first time buying a night vision. Need some help to select. First thing, my budget only allows for Gen 1 monocular.

My initial few models in mind are
1)Bushnell Night Vision 2x24mm Monoculars Scope
2)Yukon Night Vision Monocular Spirit 2x24 24041B

Which model/brand is better?

One thing which puzzle me is that why the price difference varies quite a bot for Gen 1 night vision. For example ATN Night Storm Gen.1, on the official website, it stated that it is Gen 1st + . There is a difference in 1st and 1st +?

If in complete darkness, does in built Infra Light helps to see in complete darkness?

Anybody has any recommendation? Was looking for something below $200.

I was looking for night vision primary as an aid to find my way in the relative dark forest so as to observe animal at a close distance. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

These two NV devices basically have similar specs, though I personally would prefer Yukon's Spirit 2x24, its design and comfortable use attracts me more.

If I am right, G1+ does not really exist since this tube is no longer produced. They may call G1+ a slight improvement of gen.1 but something radically different - no.

Yes, the IR significantly enhances the picture, without it you will not see anything in the dark at all because Gen.1 units must have some source of light to work on, the IR is the only source in complete darkness.
