Camera for stills using night vision

Postby lee40 on Tue Dec 23, 2008 9:14 am

I was wondering if anyone can reccommend a digital camera that has night vision capability which I can use to take stills of vandals (young neighborhood thugs) who are vandalizing my property, hanging dead animals, etc. . I have a security system but these hoodlums are getting advice from a fatass cop on how to avoid being recognized by the security system. ( He is banging the guys sister and they want to buy my property, which is next door to their parents). They have boasted on how the cameras can't definately prove who they are and they know how to avoid being identified. I'd like to hide and take stills of their crimes at eye level and take photos of their vehicles and get the plates without them seeing me due to a camera flash. Thanks.

You can use most digital cameras with full size threaded lenses. With adapters for your specific sizes, you can connect a night vision monocular to the lens. A better alternative may be the Yukon Digital Ranger, which has video out ports, allowing you to record to a video camera with ports, or your VCR.
