One of you competitor's websites lists this unit as including an infra red range finder.

I don't see anything about it in the description. Is it true?

Also could you compare and contrast this unit with the Yukon digital ranger unit?

It has an infrared illuminator, but no rangefinder of any kind. Yukon makes the Bushnell Stealthview. The Ranger has a larger IR and comes with a charging adapter which the Bushnell doesn't have. Both are superb units. The adjustable gain control on the Ranger, along with the larger IR and charger makes it a better buy. I really love both of these units. Clarity is ridiculously good compared to any traditional gen two unit.
