Best buy for 1st Gen?
I was able to check out a Night Owl($150) and I didn't like the fish bowl view. I'll mostly be looking at wildlife, so I don't plan to spend more than $250. This is very hard for me because I want the best I can get, but I just can't afford what I want. I'm looking for long battery life, good clean viewing and long distance. What are some of the best 1st gen monoculars in my price range? I have looked at everything on this site. I'm now very lost as to which one(s) have the best quality viewing and which ones have extras added and low quality viewing(if they add something, they can lose quality in the viewing to make up for the cost). I'm open to talking about this in a chat or PM if I'm able to do that here.

All gen ones will perform similarly. They will all have a fisheye picture, and generally the outside of the FOV will be useless. The Night Owl is one of the best. The ATN Night Star is okay also, as is the Yukon NVMT.
