Hello - I'm looking for my first pair of night vision goggles, only for recreational use. I go camping quite often and always wanted hand-less night vision goggles to use at nights. I know they are quite expensive, but I'm looking for something entry level that isn't TOO unreliable/non-usable. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! I saw that there are ATN's with headstrap in the 200's, but I'm a little worried with the quality of those googles.
Thanks!

Re: Looking for Entry Level Hand-Less Goggles
The ATN Viper is a head mountable gen one unit. It is usable as well as any other gen one unit, and the least expensive. Head mounts alone are about a hundred bucks. The Viper is not a goggle. It is a monocular. It covers one eye. This is the unit you're looking for for your application. Quality is commensurate with any gen one unit from any manufacturer.
