Yucon IR flashlight

Postby cshimp on Thu Jul 09, 2009 8:41 am

I have purchased a Bushnell 2x24 Night vision monocular. it is new but i cant find a model # on the box. maybe 26-0224. I am interested in the Yukon IR flashlight to mount to this to give me better view in pitch dark. I am not completly satisfied with the view i get in complete dark even with IR turned on and thought this may help. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is this flashlight seen by objects you are looking at or is it IR red light? Thanks cshimp2@verizon.net

The Yukon light cannot be seen by the human eye except when looking directly into the lens. Then you will see a red glow. The flashlight does not connect to the Bushnell (260224 is correct). It is made for the Yukon NVMT units with two mounting holes. You can hand hold it, and it will be brighter, somewhat. A gen one will still perform like a gen one no matter how much light you give it.
