ATN IR-Lamp 450mW

Hi,

Does anyone know regarding the IR-lamp that comes with the ATN MK390 Paladin sight, what is the battery time at full effect? Seems it runs out in just 1 hour or so, starts blinking really fast at the end, is this an indication that the battery is empty?

Yes, the LED lamp will blink in the IR 450s when the battery is low, but the run time, according to ATN, will be somewhere around 20 hours. If you're having problems with it I would suggest you return it to ATN for repair or replacement.

Yes, but is it really 20 hours at maximum effect? Sounds alot since it's at 450mW there. Wouldn't it be closer to 3 hours maybe? I testet with another lamp and it ran for 1 hour and then it turned itself off somehow, the battery still wasn't empty though.
