I am looking for a nv scope I like the ps22 ideal where I keep my scope but I have a 6-24x40 but I have a set of ATN couger's gen 1 googles and they put a bad taste in my mouth I would like to actually see what I am shooting at 100 yards what is the best bang for my buck $2,000 max

I would stay with the PS22. By adding the PS22 to you objective and not actually having to switch mounts you will retain your zero on your day scope. The PS22 was designed specifically for this reason. The Gen 2 version for around $1800 should give you a range of about 125-175 yards depending on conditions.
