Night vision for AR

I would like to buy a really good NV scope for my AR, but would like to keep it as low profile as possible. Any recommendations for a top of the line NV scope which is on the smaller side?

If your looking for top of the line you will want to look at the Mars series from ATN. The Mars 4x would work well on your AR and will be a low profile compared to most other NV riflescopes. The model that will give you the furthest detection range will be their generation 4 model. This should give you a 250-300+ yard recognition range with decent ambient conditions. This is a good as you get for a dedicated NV scope for a rifle.
