yukon NVMT2 problem
HEllo,
I have a problem with my yukon NVMT2 monocular night vision. I cant seem to remember if i could see through it when it was off before, but now I have no battery in it and can not see through the device. Will a new battery fix this? Thanks for your replies

With almost all Night vision devices you will not be able to see thru the optic when the unit is not turned on. This is normal, nothing wrong with your device.

Thanks Trevor, Is it, however, also what would happen if the device had somehow been shon on with sunlight? Thanks

Re: yukon NVMT2 problem
I'm sorry, but what did you mean by "shon on with sunlight?"

Re: yukon NVMT2 problem
Like if someone took the lens cover off in daylight. I've heard that can damage it

Re: yukon NVMT2 problem
Correct, with the unit ON you will not want to expose the intensifier tube to daylight or other light.
