NV for use to check on animals in pasture
Hi,
I am very new to the night vision. We have been considering it for a few years, but not seriously until now. We have a horse farm and would like to be able to do a scan of the pastures to check on the horse after dark. The property is about 8 acres. Most of the pasture space is near the house, except the rear 3 acres, which are further out, but also not visible due to a hill. Therefore, to view those last 3 acres, we have to go to the back of the front 5 acres. Detail would be nice, but I also do not want to have to scan every inch of the property to find them, so width of field of view is improtant too. I would like to spend as little as possible, preferrably $250 or under, but if needed could go to about $350 if the reason to do so is good. Thanks in advance foy your help!

Take a look at this Yukon Twilight. With this unit you should be able to see out to 100 yards on most nights. On nights with a full moon you might be able to stretch it out to 150 yards.

Thanks for responding, Chase. It is one I have been strongly considering, especially since it can be used during day time as well.
