Having a hard time selecting a Night Vision scope, goggle or monocular from our huge selection? Need to know the difference between Gen 1, 2, 3 and 4? Just ask!
Yukon NVMT 26041 Weapon Sight
Yukon makes a magnifier that is a doubler. Will it work with this unit?
Is this a good unit for shooting between 75 and 100 meters?
I would be shooting Hogs of at least medium size (50 kilos.)
I am new to NV, I understand Gen 1 has some limitations.
I am very cost conscious, I want some magnification 3x should be enough for 100 M or less.
I would mount what ever I bought on a shorty 5.56 AR.
Thanks to all
It is possible, but not practical or useable. You can't mount the magnifier behind the scope because there's no room. The scope is mounted so you can have proper eye relief, which means at the closest end of your rail where your eye is touching the eyecup. There is no room to mount a magnifier. If you were to mount the scope more forward, you could not see through it without the magnifier. The other point is that the use of a magnifier would result in collimation that could not be counted on. Your accuracy would be erratic, to say the least. So no, it is not really possible.
