Of those two night vision weapon sights, I would go with the Pulsar N550. I highly recommend reading over this thread on Sniper's Hide. It is a critical review of the strengths and weaknesses of the N550. There are many reports of shooters using the N550 on .308 bolt guns with great successes.
One of the best features of this sight is its ability to use custom reticles. With a little work and range time you can create your own BDC reticle! it is also a digital unit, so you can use the sight day or night without harming the unit.
