What is the difference in the PAL and NTSC. Output designation on thermal scopes?

Good Question! Those are actually video system standards. NTSC is the standard for North American and some of South America while PAL is the video system Standard in pretty much all of Europe and the rest of the World. They deal with how many frames a second are sent, 30 for NTSC and 25 for PAL and how many individual scan lines are present, 525 in NTSC and 625 in PAL. Its just important to get the unit that corresponds to where you are located or your technology needs.
