HElP!!! Which night vision do I choose?!?!?!

As a rule of thumb, for casual users. 100 yards= Gen1= sun $1000. 200 yards= Gen 2= $2000 area. 300 yards= Gen 3= $3000+.
Not exact figures by any means, just a rough outline.

A PVS-7 will be your best option. You will also be limited to a few generation 2 model NVDs. This is one of the few models we can export to Australia: AT-NV-PVS7-2-NVGOPS7X2I
Anything less than generation 2 is not really all that useful for your application. I have tried generation 1 for star gazing. The image is pretty bad. Digital night vision is a little better, but gen 2 will give you the best performance we can offer you.
