eyeglasses-compatibe, headgear-mounted monocular, gen 2 or 3
Hello - please offer some advice for the following need: I have fairly severe astigmatism, and wear my line-less bifocals at all times. I would like to get a headgear-mounted monocular goggle, probably gen 2 or 3. I am presuming that the eye relief would have to be on the long side? Does the rubber eyecup have to be used, or can the monocular simply hang in front of the eyeglass lense? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, you can use a monocular with eyeglasses. I don't know how your bifocals will affect your vision, but you can use them. Your field of view will be smaller because the eyepiece is farther away. You do not have to use the eyecup, but most glasses/goggles users leave it in place. Our OPMOD PVS-14 would be an excellent choice, and headgear is included.
