Help with Nightvision for Paintball

Postby mgrubb on Tue Jul 23, 2013 2:49 pm

I am planning on purchasing night vision monoculars to use for paintball. Price range between 250-300. I have it narrowed down to the following 3:

Armasight OPMOD Gen1M1.0
Yukon NVMT 1X24
ATN Vipers.

Which does opticsplanet recommend of the above 3 mentioned. Which has the best built in IR illuminator. Can they all be weapon mounted if I choose not to use the headgear. I am leaning toward the Armasight set right now.

Thanks for the help

None of those are mountable. The Spark Core is mountable, and you'll find the mount on the same page as in the link. You know you need a night vision compatible red dot, too, right? Otherwise you don't have an aiming point.
