Trijicon Sights Shipping
I just moved to a very rural area and have had to get up twice in the middle of the night to investigate strange noises outdoors and my dog barking like crazy. I own a Walther PPQ 9mm bone stock and a full-size Maglite LED flashlight. I used them in a Harries hold. I could see what I was looking at clearly, but could not see my sights at all because it was so dark outside. After the first incident, I decided I would get night sights (I know, technically NOT night vision but I couldn't find an open sights category) as soon as I could. Fortunately, neither incident resulted in the need to use the firearm, and most likely there was just a possum, raccoon, deer, bobcat etc snooping around.
Anyway, I purchased a set of Trijicon night sights (great price!) for my Walther on Wednesday, August 7th, 3-day ground shipping (standard). I live 45 minutes west of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Checked the shipping status this morning and:

WTF? So UPS needs to ship my stuff from Chicago (MAJOR hub) to 3 hours away in North-Central Indiana. In order to do this, they send it 6 hours away to Columbus, OH? Adding another 3 days to shipping time? This is frustrating and disappointing. I kept hearing that O.P. has great shipping, and I am sure this is probably not O.P.'s fault, but it is very annoying...
Anybody else have a similar issue?
Also, any recommendations on a good budget (<$50) handgun rail-mounted flashlight? I like both hands on my firearm when possible.
