Nightvision monocular Gen 2+ ($2000)

Hi guys....I'm looking for a NV monocular helmet mounted (and weapon mount) for paintball but also for night surveillance.

Initially I thought to an ATN NVM14 CGT, but after reading some bad comments I moved to an Armasight NYX14 QS. About this NV I like that is multi-purpose (so I could mount it on a weapon or also I could use magnifications etc...). However I saw on youtube the video "Armasight NYX14 Improved Definition Gen 2+" and the edges looked very distorted here, especially comparing with "Armasight PVS14 Gen 2 Extended Definition ".....I don't know, what do you think about? What other NV monocular I could consider?

Actually there are these:
- ATN NVM15 CGT
- Armasight NYX-14 GEN2+ QS

Hello. The QS model will have an image in the grey scale (black and white). Some people prefer it over the traditional green. I for one do not. Night vision is green because the human eye is more adept and picking up wavelengths in the "green" part of the electromagnetic spectrum. The ATN CGT tube and Armasight ID tube will be very similar.

The features are also very similar:
They both can take CR123 and AA batteries.
Both have an intern IR illuminator and flood lens.
They take the same style mounts.

The only difference is the size and weight. The Armasight NYX is slightly larger.

By far the best night vision device we carry, for the price, is our OPMOD PVS-14. This is a generation 3 unit with an ITT Pinnacle IIT. For not much more money, it is a major increase in performance.
