Hello,

I am just enquiring if SpeedTrac X Radar Gun Hands-Free Speed Gun X-treme will pick up speeds of a ball very quickly. I am carrying out a college project which requires me to fire a ball less than a metre before it hits the target, so I am enquiring if this device will do this. Also, will I need an adapter or is it battery powered also.

Hi

It is battery powered. That distance may be a problem on a lower quality unit such as the Speedtrac. I'd say you'd be more likely to get a reading with the Sports Radar DT100 Detector Short Range Fixed Installation Baseball Pitching booths Hockey Golf nets.
