Hi Joanie,
How much does this Leupold compact tripod weigh?
And does it come with a carrying case?
Thanks

Hi

43.2 oz and, yes, it comes with a case. Probably our nicest compact.

Hi again,
I just off the phone with Leupold and here's a couple questions they could not answer.
I'm just hoping for your best guess.
1: Full height with center column extended
2: Weight capacity

Some questions they could answer that's not provided on OP or Leupold's site:
Tilt angle: 90 degrees down and 45 degrees up
Same QR plate as their window mount. He also added the plate is an industry standard.
Thanks again

Hi

Weight capacity I cannot supply, but I can tell you that I would not go over a 60mm or 65mm scope. This is not enough tripod for an 80mm spotting scope.

Max height is going to be 31.5" with column extended.

You can use a Bogen 3157N QR plate, http://www.opticsplanet.net/bogen-manfrotto-3157n-quick-release-plate.html in this head.
