I am buying my boyfriend a range finder for xmas. he mentioned the buhnell brand and leopold brand one day and i did a lot of research. i have a budget, no more than 250.00, i wouldnt mind spending less, but i dont want to buy him junk.
he archery hunts and rifle hunts, but archery is his passion. he hunts in the woods, rain, snow, cold, or hot, and we live in PA.
Would the Bushnell Scout 1000 be sufice? any other suggestions?

Hi,
Not a huge selection that I recommend in that price range. What we do have in that price range is a basic rangefinder that will not compensate for slope and is not loaded with features, but will work well. Here are my top choices in this price range.
Nikon ProStaff 550 Rangefinder
Bushnell Yardage Pro Compact 800 Range Finder
Bushnell Yardage Pro Trophy Laser Rangefinder 202018
