The Bushnell Bowhunter- Chuck Adams Edition is a pretty nice choice for a bowhunter. The lower 4x magnification is useable for very close ranging, the price is right, and the size is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. It's not waterproof, but I don't really hold that against it. Keep it covered in a downpour. It is rainproof. The optics are good. It doesn't pretend to be as bright as a Leica, for instance, but nothing is. Good choice for a bowhunter, with true horizontal distance readings from 5 to 99 yards.
