New rangefinder help?
I am looking for a new rangefinder for deer hunting. I bow and rifle hunt, mostly in wooded areas as opposed to open country.
I have looked at the Bushnell Chuck Adams bowhunter and the Nikon ProStaff 550. Which one do you like better and what are your thoughts on each model?

Re: New rangefinder help?
Hi,
Both of these are great models, but the Bushnell Chuck Adams Rangefinder is suited specifically for bowhunting. This model has an angle compensation feature to take the guess work out of hunting in steep terrain or from a stand.

Thanks Ryan for you response.
I am also looking at the Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout 1000 ARC Laser. What are your thoughts on it as opposed to the Chuck Adams model?

Hi,
The Bushnell Chuck Adams model is made specifically for bowhunting. The Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC has a mode for bowhunting and a mode for rifle. If you will not do any rifle hunting, save the $70 and stick with the Chuck Adams.
