Bushnell elite 1500 or leupold rx-1000?
I know, another this or that.... but i am really having trouble finding real info and not just "ours is better". I wanna know which of these would be best..... but i'm open to and encourage other suggestion. I hunt with a bow and this will see the most use then, but it will be going on rifle hunts too and will see flat and hilly/mountain situations very often. I hunt hard and need a rangefinder to be pretty rugged or have good warranty JIC. I will be able to range near by objects so distance to "deer" is not as important for me. Where i hunt there is always something else around to range and i only shoot out to like 400 yards so 10 yards off because i had to range the boulder behind the animal is no biggie.

OH, the rx-1000 would be the "TBR" model.

I used the Bushnell Legend 1200 ARCon my last couple elk hunts, and it's my favorite so far with a reasonable price. Size, quality, power, options are all there. The Leupold RX 1000, which I also use, has an LED reticle that can be a bit hard to see in bright light, but is super small and handy. The new Leica Rangemaster CRF 1600 is probably the best hunting rangefinder on the planet, but it's twice the money of other units. The optical quality is second to none.
