faulty Bushnell Yardage Pro
I put a new battery in my Bushnell Yardage Pro ranger finder last week and when point the finder to your object and push the button, all you get is three verticle lines, push again and you get three horizontal lines. It doesn't give me any readings at all? Can you advise

Hi Richard: I´ve got almost same problem. When i put a new battery in my Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000 an "ER6" occurs. Hav e you got any idea to solve it. Thanks.

Hi Richard: I´ve got almost same problem. When i put a new battery in my Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000 an "ER6" occurs. Hav e you got any idea to solve it. Thanks.

Not sure what the problem is that causes the error, but you should be able to talk to a tech at Bushnell by giving them a call at 1-800-221-9035

Hello From Canada - I have the same ER6 problem since changing the battery in my Yardage Pro XL. There is nothing to troubleshoot this problem in the manuals. The unit I have is very lightly used. and now apparantly useless. Any help is appreciated. Ruth

Unfortunately, I bought a Yardage Pro 1000 from Optics Planet some time ago. I ran into the same problem. Although Optics Planet is not responsible, I initially got some contact info from them in order to contact Bushnell about the "Er6" error code and was politely told to pound sand. I know that this is 5 years old---but there are people out there still buying these things and they should be reminded to spend their hard-earned money elsewhere...Optics Planet sells Nikon and Leupold---which would be infinitely better choices than Bushnell and their bad customer service/repair/return policies. Hopefully, somebody will be able to see this response if they Google-search the error message.
