Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout vs Tour Model

Postby billr99 on Tue Sep 19, 2006 9:16 am

An earlier post in April, 2006 by Joanie K answered a question about Bushnell Scout vs Tour models by saying the golf model was able to more easily pick out the flag from the background because the software in the golf model looked for the nearest object first while the scout looked for the farthest object first. In researching this I find that the software she is talking about is in a feature called the "Pinseeker" option in two of the higher end Bushnell models. It is not included in the Yardage Pro Tour which was asked about. Therefore except for the color and the fact that the tour model does not have a battery low indicator the Scout and the Tour models are identical. I have both of them, by the way.

Hi

You are right Bill. I apologize for not getting the right info to you at the time, but that was the way it was explained to me by Bushnell at the time of the post.
