Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout Rangefinder
what is the best for golf and why? COULD YOU SUGGEST BETTER IN OR AROUND THIS PRICE RANGE.

Hi
Golf laser angefinders are smaller and more compact than field rangefnders and they often lack many of the features such as scan, rain and so on. Field laser rangerfinders can be used for golf, but you should be sure to select one that has a nearest target priority mode or you may have some difficulty getting a reading on the flag. The Nikon 440 does not have this feature. It autoomatically seeks the most distant target. If you have trees or other objects in the background, it will try to find these objects rather than the flag.
A better choice would be the Bushnell Scout.
