Bushnell Yardage Pro Legend vs Leupold RX II

Postby jr295 on Wed Mar 28, 2007 11:27 pm

For rifle hunting in rugged high alpine open county, I want a rugged, small, waterproof, LRF under $400. I like the Bushnell Legend and the Leupold RX II, but the Leupold has the inclination compensator. Not really sure if it make that much different for rifle hunting, and I know you like the Bushnell screen much better than the Leupold. Screen issue aside, does the inclination compensator tip the scales for you or do you still lean towards the Bushnell?

Hi

A tilt, inclination, slope (all the same) feature is overkill in flat country, but I have to admit, that in mountainous country, that feature could be a real advantage. I'd probably go with the Leupold, here.
