While the Leicas are nice, the Bushnells are more my price range - any other options worth considering? :?:

The best rangefinder

Dear Pete,
Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. Picking the best rangefinder will depend on your intender use. Different units are better for different uses.

Golfing rangefinders are better suited for picking up pin flags at a greater distince. If this is what you need, I would recommend one of the following:
http://opticsplanet.com/202025.html, or
http://opticsplanet.com/leica-rangefinder-40530.html

If you need something that will compensate for angles and even provide measurement of the angle, Opti-Logic would work better.

Any range finder will work well for hunting in the 200-500 yd range without a reflector. Remember to add our box of rangefinder reflectors to any rangefinder purchase for $.10, http://opticsplanet.com/bushnell-rangef ... ctors.html. They will almost double the effective distance to a tree or other larger object.

I hope I've provided some useful information.
Best Regards,
Stan Mack
