How would you compare the Meade NV Digital to the Night Owl Explorer in terms of clarity of view? I'll be using the device to view wildlife on my property at night.
I'd appreciate any feedback on quality or functionality between the two. I'm at the point where I'm ready to flip a coin.

Hi

The early digitals such as the Meade will be comparable to a gen 1 like the Explorer. The only real advanatge of a digital in this performance range is its ability to easily connect to a cam or camera with a video input in case you want to take pics. On these two, I'd go with the Explorer unless you are thinking photography.
