I am looking for a page magnifier that can be rested directly on the page (e.g. newspaper, magazine or book) to be read without having to hold it.
What is your recommendation?
Will Bausch & Lomb 2x Magna-Page Magnifier 81-90-07 meet my requirement?

Hi

Sorry, all page magnifiers I have seen require you to hold the magnifier and inch or two off the page. Don't have a source for one that will lay flat and still provide magnificarion.

In that case, what are the hands free magnifier that can be rested directly on the page (e.g. newspaper, magazine or book) to be read without having to hold it? Then I can read a few lines at the same time.

Hi

You can lay a text magnifier on the page, such as the B&L 81-26-17 which reads about 4 lines of text at a time with 2x magnification.

I have an idea: if I put four legs / pillars (one or two inches high) to support the page magnifier, then I can see the whole page and is still hand free. Isn't it?

Hi

It's worth a try, especially given the price on these items.
