I've gone through about the last year of topics on scopes and haven't seen anything about any of these. besides excess weight, they look to be a high quality scope. anybody out there with experience and or opinions about any of the counter sniper scopes.

Hi,

For a company that lists their products at a value of $4000 and yet sells them for $200, you've got to rate them based on the price they actually sell for. These scopes have every feature imaginable, yet still sell for the price of an entry to mid grade scope. While I have not taken any of the Countersniper scopes into the field myself, I have read many reviews of them on many other forums. Take a look at these links to reviews on these scopes. Most reviews that I have found are along these lines.

:D i acually bought one..................i got a marlin xs7 in 243 a $280 gun, so i could let my girlfriend borrow it and i could use it for coyote's. I was going to a vx-1 at the most ........then saw the ads in a sportsmans guide flyer...............i figured what the hell.............with my club discount and a coupon i had the scope was $230. So when it came I was taken to the fact that it is clearer and sharper than my vx-2...........a little on the heavy side, nice target turrets (plastic) and the dual color illuminated reticles are neat in the low light mornings of which i had a chance to try just over the last weekend. Low light very clear and bright..............hey i know some of the stuff dark ops says seems a little strange.........but i'll buy another one for an upcoming 22-250

First of all I cant stand idiots who shoot dogs/coyote's ! get a life!!

I am willing to try something made in the USA that is made for the US military!

no prices over 3k shown for these units normally, I wonder where the facts are from a lot of these statements

on this company? I am going to purchase one, do a little RR and provide an update.

Would love to see a review, but I do not understand why Dark Ops scopes claim they are government contact overruns when that is a completely untrue statement.

I made the mistake of buying their 2x16 power scope. I received it in the mail and started to play with it. First off, the magnification ring was really tight. I turn it from 2x to 16x and nothing happens. Its stuck in 2x! So I call Counter Sniper and speak to Frank, the QA and CEO for this scope. He tells me that the ring is supposed to be that tight because of the recoil. I have 2 other scopes from different manufactures and have never had this problem. When I tell him its not magnifying, he tells me to send it back and they will look at it. Get it back to them and about a week later I get an email telling me there is nothing wrong it and it meets all manufacture specifications. So I call him. When I asked him what those were, he couldn't give me an answer. Couldn't even give me a FOV at 100 yards. I asked him to email me those and he quickly changed the subject. I ask him to tell me about the scope, the reticle and how to use it because the instructions provided didn't really go into it. He tells me about it and then askes if I've ever used a scope before. I told him yes and what scopes I have. Of course, they are poor built POS. So my response was kinda like yours. Needless to say I will be returning it and getting my money back. I wish I would've read the forums about this product before purchase. To many poor reviews of this product and seen the pictures to prove it. Don't waste your money on this crap. Total scam. This was the first and last time I order a scope online. :x

Wouldn't put one on any of my rifles.
