Hi,

Does this modell from Leupold (Mfr# 66635) work together with the Leupold Alumina Flip-Back cover Mfr# 59030 and Mfr# 59055?

Is the Leupold 1.5-5x20 VX-3 (Mfr# 66635) really compatible with the Alumina Flip-back lenscover 59030? I read at several forums on the net that the 1.5-5x20 VX-3 doesn't work with this lenscover.

Hi,

Leupold threw a wrench into this one. The Leupold VX-3 1.5-5x20 Illuminated scope does not use the standard Alumina objective flip cover. This scope actually uses the 24mm Alumina objective flip cover that fits the VX-7 24mm scopes. This cover is not currently sold through retailers, but can be purchased directly from Leupold. Give them a call at 1-800-LEUPOLD.
