Stainless Steel Rifle Scope

What brand of scope is available in stainless steel with a mag similar to 2x-7x with a 1" tube?

Scopes are anodized aluminum, not stainless steel. If you want a quality silver colored scope around a 2-7 magnification range, try the Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x32, or go up to a higher magnification like a 3-9 where there are more silver choices available.

It was not so much the color but the material. Since that seems to be out of the question now I'm looking at one of my previous choices, a Redfield 2x-7x 33mm RL-RS-REVO-2-7x33. Is this one suitable on a Ruger M77 in 308 caliber? I also found a Leupold with the same specs which sells for $209, LU-RS-VX1-2-7x33. I haven't found a ring set yet but want something where the scope will drop into the saddle and bolt down with a cap.

Either scope would be great on your gun, compact and adding just a little weight. My favorite Ruger rings are from Ruger, although the Leupolds and Burris rings are good, also. All three one screw on either side of the scope to tighten.

That Leupold scope is for a shotgun and has a fixed 75 yd parallax setting. Not what you are looking for with a .308.

Weaver has the Classic V-series in 2-10x38mm which seems to be a good scope at it's price point.

The Leupold mentioned above is not the shotgun 2-7. It has a parallax setting of 150 yards.

Not all scopes are made with aluminum. Zeiss is the only scope that is made with stainless steal. Try looking at there web site. If a scope is made of stainless steal, it will say stainless steal. If not you will see the word silver for the color of the scope.
