Best scopes for a .338 Win Mag

Postby ATXHunter on Fri Aug 20, 2010 11:26 am

I am looking to purchase a hunting riflescope for my .338 Winchester Magnum for hog, deer, and elk hunting. I do some low-light hunting so peformance in low-light conditions is important. My hunting usually consists of stalking in the woods and shots under 250 yards. I am not an optics expert and would be very grateful for people's previous experiences and insight.

A great low light scope for 250 yards or less would be the Nikon Monarch Gold 2.5-10x56. The Nikon Monarch Gold line are top notch quality scopes. The 30mm tube allows for a great adjustment range and the UCC (Ultra Clear Coat) coating from Nikon keeps your glass protected. This scope also features a side focus for easy parallax adjustment when yards really matter. All around, a great scope for your hunting needs.
