i currently have a Leupold 6X on a .270 win i have been considering getting on the Nikon with bdc any suggestin which bdc model to get thanks

Were you looking to do more hunting and/or target shooting/ Also, what distances will you be taking shots at and up to?

it would be more for hunting with some shots that could be up to 500 yards. I would consider a shot at 500 yards unethical, but these long shot would be at hogs and the hogs do a lot of damage to the farmers fields. i should have mentioned that i would be mounted on a Ruger 77 with the mounts that come with the rifle. thanks
