looking for long range rifle scope 2000 meters

Postby senbonzakura1982 on Fri Dec 14, 2012 1:15 pm

I am looking for a high quality long range rifle scope. It will be used on my .338 lapua. I am looking to shoot between 1500 and 2000 meters. I know the schmit & bender scopes are very good but they are also 3.5k. What would be a good scope for me to use but wont break the bank? Willing to spend $1200 to $2500. Which scope would you recomend? Thanks.

The Nightforce 12-42x56 is made for you. Most long range and bench rest competitions are won using Nightforce scopes. Superbly accurate, and QC is second to none. They will shrug off recoil like water off a duck's back. A good choice with .l25 adjustments and minimum subtention is the #C339 with the NP-2DD reticle. If you really plan to shoot 2000 yards, make sure that the 45 moa maximum elevation adjustment plus an angled base will compensate for the ridiculous drop at that distance.
