I recently set up a Remington 700 LTR .308 with a 15 moa one piece Leopold base, Warne tactical rings and a Leopold VX 3 4.5-14 x 50mm CDS scope with a 30mm tube. The windage only needed 1.5 inches of adjustment at 100 yards but the elevation adjustment seems to have bottomed out. I've never seen this before but have never used a canted base. I'm at 2 inches high at 100yds. Normally I would be good with that but I want to order the CDS turret and read that it would be set from 100 out to @ 800 yds in 100 yd increments.
I thought with the 30mm tube I wouldn't run into this. Any suggestions on a fix besides shimming the front of the base?
Thanks

Re: 15 moa leopold base
Interesting question and observations regarding your lack of elevation adjustments. Seems pretty odd. I have a question into Leupold about this, and I'll post an answer when I confirm my findings. Thanks for the patience. I know it's important and I will always try my best to answer your questions confidently.
